Wild Alchemy Journal is a multi-sensory print publication of art, text and smell, layered with augmented audio-visual content exploring nature, science and esoterica. Each issue takes on one of the classical elements — earth, fire, water, air, aether — as a lens for how we place ourselves within our environment, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Its contributors are a global community of artists and thinkers at the intersection of plants, planets and people.

I led the visual execution of the journal, working closely with editor and creative director Jemma Foster to sourced and commissioned the journal's contributors. Once the artwork, photography and writing came together for each issue, I art-directed and designed every element of the publication — from bespoke custom lettering for each contributor, giving every piece its own typographic identity, to the layout of every spread, building each page by hand within a unifying design system.
